Amazon implemented new authentication steps on August 15, 2009.

What code adjustments do we need to make so that data will flow on our stores again.

The search doesn't work. It just redirects to the homepage. Do I need to change something in the code to get it to work? Also, when I click on "more reviews" in the individual products, the same thing happens.

nevermind, i figured it out. The subscription id is the same as the access id.

I got everything setup fine, but when I go to the different categories, there are no items. It just says "no results to display". I noticed that there's a subscription id field in the config.php. Do I need to purchase a subscription from amazon or something? If so, where do I get it?

Try to chmod all your php files into 755 permission.
Some hosts execute all php files automatically, some don't.
I have the same problem as yours, when i changed all php files permission into 755, it works.

My site is CipherSearch.com and nothing shows after I installed the amazon script on ciphersearch.com/amazon. As you can see I have my own Amazon application which opens in a new window,but I really wanted your script because it embeds into the site. I filled out the config file with my site title,amazon aff id,and amazon key.

How can I make this work???

after some testing i found out that the no data error comes up when the site is running slow... it's a time out issue. If you have a theme that runs slow or your site is bogged down by plugins then i suggest to get a 'light' theme and lose some of your heafty plugins
